The Coleman Sundome tent is available in two sizes. Both tents have a durable tub floor with welded corners and floor seams to prevent leaks. It has additional weather protection with zipper cuff at your front door. It is engineered to withstand stormy condition. Feature lists are provided below for each tent. We used this tent for the first time because the tent we had paid a fortune for kept springing leaks even though it was hundreds of dollars. We had no expectations other than a place to sleep in nice weather. Well, of course we ended up with a monsoon that night. High winds, thunder, lightning and torrential downpours. This tent (with it's tiny price tag) did not leak a drop! It stayed put too. We will NEVER buy any tent but a Coleman and in fact we purchased a larger one and are equally as pleased with it. GREAT product!

We have an older version of this same tent, and we got rained out on a recent camping trip. We have used this tent many times, but this was our first real rain. The tent held up great! There were no leaks and no water inside (except what we brought in with us). We were even able to keep the "screen door" open, and the overhang of the rain guard still kept us dry. All of our fellow campers with various different types of tents had many leaks from the heavy downpour. We were nice and dry!!

This is an extraordinary little tent. After 16 years of camping with my dogs -(it fits me and my 2 dogs comfortably) -it still doesn't leak or have any major tears in it. It's almost indestructible. When it was 14 years old I had the shock-corded poles repaired a bit by the REI repair department. It's just a great tent.
I'm in the market to get a 2nd tent now just because the poles are old and splitting again from all the use, and my carelessness has torn a bit of the pole sleeves on top.
I've been looking at tents and I realize that the tent I want is this same tent. I'll just get a new Coleman Sundome. Thanks Coleman!

PERFECT TENT May 29, 2009 Reviewer: very happy
I bought this tent for my son because his old tent was leaking very badly.When he got the tent from UPS he took it right out the bag and set it up so he could water proof it since other reviews said that its a good idea to waterproof it.He went camping with the boy scouts two weeks after he got the tent.While he was camping it started pouring down rain.He said he thought the tent would collapse but it stayed standing and did not leak at all. He is very happy with the tent and cant wait to use it again.

I purchased the 7'x7' Coleman Sundome as a replacement for another tent that was damaged on a camp out. I ordered my new tent online about a month ago. It arrived in record time (3 days) and I used it the very next day on an overnight camp out. The tent seems durable for what I paid for it. It was easy to set up and take down. I can't comment on the tent's foul-weather performance as it did not rain the one time I used it. I think for a casual tent camper this tent would work well - just don't expect an "expedition grade" tent at this price.
